Today is the day to play with the new Google Trend (see Steve Rubel's list). I decided to look at the number of searches for 'social marketing' and 'health communication.' Here are the results.
I could speculate as to why both terms seem to get equal weightings in Atlanta and Sydney - would the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention HQ in Atlanta have anything to do with one of them? Readers from Downunder have any insights for Sydney's result?
This tool should get a lot of attention from people interested in how consumers use the web as a tool for health information, promote social causes and engage in a variety of social change activities. It's also easy to start doing competitive analysis in a whole new dimension.
