Social Marketing in the News

This week's Social Marketing in the News is now up at R. Craig Lefebvre's Social Marketing Blog.  News coverage includes Harvard University's Green Campus Initiative to encourage energy conservation behavior among students and faculty; another social marketing campaign targeting methamphetamine use among gay men; the suggestion to use social marketing to promote the National Health Insurance Scheme in Nigeria; coverage of the "Stop the Sores" syphilis prevention campaign in Los Angeles County; and a notice about the appointment of a University of Cape Town professor to the Advisory Committee on Transformative Consumer Research of the Association for Consumer Research.  Transformative consumer research looks like an area of study that social marketers may want to pay attention to in the future.  More on that in a future posting.
